Jereem Richards retains the 2022 commonwealth men’s 200m gold for Trinidad and Tobago

Jereem Richards retain his men’s 200m title at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham England, on Saturday.

Richards won the event in a personal best time of 19.80 seconds and meet a record of 19.80 which is also a commonwealth games record.

Zharnel Hughes of England claimed silver in 20.12 and Joseph Amoah of Ghana grabbed bronze in 20.49.

It’s the fourth medal at the Commonwealth Games for the twin-island nation as Cyclist Nicholas Paul earned one gold, one silver, and one bronze earlier in the games.
