Bahamians Gardiner and Miller won 400m easily at Paris Diamond League
Just like they did last year in Summer, at the Tokyo Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, when they both won the gold in spectacular fashion. Again today in France, Bahamamians Gardiner and Miller 400m easily at Paris Diamond League.
Running in only his second 400m this season and in a rare appearance in the Wanda Diamond League series, Steven Gardiner ran a season-best of 44.21 seconds to take the relaxing victory in the men’s 400m race. Today (Saturday), it was amazing. My first time in Paris and it is a season-best, I won the race so it feels good,” he said during his post-race interview. “I’m ready to see what is next for me.”
Meanwhile, his compatriot Olympic champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo won the women’s 400m in
a time of 50.10 seconds.
