It is considered by many to be the world’s premier annual event for reggae music. This three nights extravaganza takes place yearly in Jamaica’s northwestern city of Montego Bay in the month of July. Attracting thousands of fans each summer, Reggae Sumfsest made its inception in the early nineties when Sunsplash Jamaica’s famous long-running music festival became defunct.
